Svanehøj is seeking an experienced Head of Finance and Business Support to lead, manage, and develop our Finance and Business Support in our Svanehøj Denmark unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our financial strategies align with business objectives while delivering insights and support that drive 
the decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities
In this role, you will take on a broad range of responsibilities to ensure financial strength, support strategic planning, and drive performance across the business. You will lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting and at the same time function as a trusting business partner to department heads by providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making including monthly profit and loss, forecast vs. budget and weekly cash flow.

Further, you will:

• Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls with a medium- to long-term focus.
• Lead and contribute to the business planning process to identify known and unknown variables and consider reasonable different scenarios for business assumptions.
• Establish strategy, annual budgets, frequent forecasting, and action plans aligned with local and business objectives.
• Assess and manage financial risks while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements to secure financial stability.
• Evaluate and monitor business performance across the entire value chain —from quoting and production to delivery, revenue recognition, and warranty.

You bring solid experience with financial principles and regulatory frameworks, along with insight and critical thinking to support sound business decisions. You demonstrate integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior in all actions and decisions, and stayupdated with industry trends and best practices. As a leader, you inspire results in partnership with your team, within a supportive and value-driven environment that encourages personal growth, well-being, and pride in one's work.

Preferably, you:

• Hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related fields. 
• Have proven experience as a Head of Finance or similar role, for a minimum of five years.
• Are fluent in both Danish and English, both written and spoken
